Yolanda's Milk Soup |  Milk Day

Makes 1 serving - uses 8 oz of your daily milk allowance

  • 4 oz whole milk
  • 4 oz whole milk yogurt
    • you may substitute with kefir
  • salt, to taste
  • cayenne pepper, to taste
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • turmeric, to taste
  • smoked paprika (optional)
  • to prevent curdling, allow milk/yogurt/kefir to get to room temperature before heating
  • pour yogurt into a small saucepan on low to medium heat
  • stir yogurt to remove lumps, if any
  • add milk to saucepan
  • add spices, to taste
  • stir often and warm slowly until hot
  • pour into soup mug or bowl
  • garnish with smoked paprika (optional)
  • enjoy!
