American Flag | Vegetable Day
This all American fruit platter is the perfect touch for any patriotic celebration and just for fun.

Makes 3 servings - 3 skewers is 1 cup of your daily fruit allowance
Ingredients
2 bananas
7 large strawberries
16 blueberries
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 cup water
Directions
In a medium bowl, mix lemon juice and water. Set aside.
Peel and slice bananas, 1/4” to 1/2” thick.
To prevent browning, dip the banana slices in the bowl of lemon juice, completely covering the bananas.
Wash strawberries and blueberries.
Cut off and discard tops of strawberries.
Cut strawberries in quarters.
Create skewers as follows:
4 skewers – slide onto skewer 1 strawberry, 1 banana, 1 strawberry, 1 banana, 4 blueberries
4 skewers – slide onto skewer 1 strawberry, 1 banana, 1 strawberry, 1 banana, 1 strawberry, 1 banana, 1 strawberry
Place skewers on serving platter aligning fruit "stripes".
