Kristine's Sweet and Sour Vegetables |  Vegetable Day

Makes 2 servings - each serving uses: 12 oz of your daily vegetable allowance and 1 cup of your daily fruit allowance

  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1/2 medium red pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 medium green pepper, sliced
  • 12 oz broccoli
  • fresh garlic, minced (to taste)
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, cubed
  • zero-calorie pineapple syrup

  • Bragg's Liquid Aminos
  • PAM olive oil or other zero-calorie cooking spray
  • sauté slice onions and peppers until soft
  • add garlic, to taste
  • steam broccoli until bright green
  • add broccoli to sauté
  • in a small bowl, mix pineapple syrup and Bragg's, to taste
  • add mixture and cubed pineapple to sauté
  • stir until thoroughly mixed
  • enjoy!
