Recipes and Suggestions using Sugar-Free (Gelatin) Jell-O.
Remember, Sugar-free Jell-O can be used to flavor yogurt on milk days... it may impact your weight loss. Jell-O, according to Dr Schwartz: "Sugar-free Jell-o is a mixed bag. You can give it a try, but not more than one serving per day. It interacts (slows) with some and does nothing with others. You can try the one serving per day and see what happens. You should not overindulge with anything, and you should use only Stevia as an artificial sweetener." Some on the program have purchased yogurt makers and have come up with some delicious recipes using sugar-free Jell-O gelatin. Here's some information from Phyllis: "I bought the ice cream maker by Cuisinart. If you mix 10 oz of yogurt with a box of sugar-free Jell-O crystals and then follow the machine directions, you get a nice consistency soft-serve treat. Some does stick to the sides of the freezer bowl. Cuisinart said it's because of the sugar-free stuff. Using the same machine, make the yogurt with one of the DaVinci syrups and some Splenda to taste, you get a frozen smoothie that you can drink with a straw." "Strawberry Margarita" (Liz) 10 oz yogurt Also from PhyllisDissolve a small box of Sugar-Free (gelatin) Jell-O with 1 cup hot water. When dissolved add tons of ice cubes. Once thickened but not set, remove extra ice pieces and whip it with a mixer then fold in 8oz of yogurt (whole milk, plain) and put in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes. It will be custard-like and fabulous! Try mixing flavors. I mixed orange and lemon, whipped it after I took out the ice cubes and used the mixer and whipped in 2 cups of yogurt. It's soooOoo filling.
