Program Elements

The core elements of the program are acupressure, diet, and Chi Gong breathing.  The synergy of these three elements result in—

  • Significant weight loss.
  • Enhanced energy levels.
  • Greater alertness.
  • An overall feeling of well-being.

Although no medications are used, individuals are asked to use a good multi-vitamin and mineral supplement.  Individuals are seen once a week for discussion and implementation of necessary program changes.

Long-distance patients are monitored by telephone and email on a weekly basis.

Telephone consultation is available on a daily basis to answer all program-related questions.

NOTE:  At your request, your personal physician may receive a report of your progress at regular intervals.

Acupressure Using Beads

Acupressure is a key element of the Accu Weight-Loss program.  Pressure applied to tiny beads placed behind each ear will trick the body into feeling full and, therefore, you will not experience hunger.

Acupressure is similar to acupuncture but acupressure is not an invasive procedure.

The program seems to operate through the hypothalamus.  The "AccuBeads" appear to signal the hypothalamus that food satisfaction has been achieved and thus clients do not experience hunger.  Acupressure also appears to signal the body that it is not calorie-deficient but is getting all the basic fat, protein, and amino acids necessary.  Therefore, clients are losing mainly fat but little muscle or organ mass.  The Chi Gong appears to enhance weight loss as well as increased energy by increasing the body's ability to use oxygen.

What is Chi Gong?

Chi: The vital energy found in all things.
Gong: The practice and method to cultivate the Chi.
In short, Chi Gong, is a method to draw vital energy from the universe by cultivating mind and body.

Chi Gong refers to an exercise used to improve health and longevity as well as increase the sense of peace and harmony within oneself and the world at large.  In fact anything you do with the intention of benefiting your energy can be though of as Chi Gong.

The mind is the presence of intention.  The eyes are the focus of intention.  Movement is the action of intention.  The breath is the flow of intention.

Chi Gong is something that anyone can discover within themselves.  For example, watch a child running along an open field.  Notice how deeply he breathes and how his arms open up to embrace what is before him.  Children have a natural connection with the energy of the universe.  Chi Gong teaches adults the part of themselves that has been forgotten.

The word Chi is used to describe the breath, air, vapor, and the internal energy that Chinese medicine is so adept at strengthening.  Gong is the work of harnessing it.

Long Distance Participants Only:

Long distance participants are required to provide AccuWeight with statistical information for evaluation and determination of pressure points prior to beginning the program.  A chart is developed for each client showing where the beads should be placed each week and complete one-on-one training is provided to the client upon their receipt of the starter kit.

Details about the long distance participation program and information to be submitted to AccuWeight are provided during the comprehensive phone orientation offered at no-obligation to prospective clients.  Feel free to contact us at info@accuweight.com to sign up for an upcoming phone orientation.
