Berry Smoothie |  Vegetable/Fruit Day

Berries are a great source of Vitamin C and antioxidants, which protect the body from cell damage that could eventually lead to several cancers, including breast cancer. This smoothie is a great way to enjoy your berries and help keep healthy too!

Ingredients
  • 1 Banana
  • 2/3 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 2/3 cup crushed ice
  • Water, as needed
Directions
  • Combine ice, banana and berries in a blender and process until well mixed but still icy.
  • Add water to loosen consistency, as necessary.
  • Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!
