10 (approx) Golden Delicious apples (peel and core)
10 (approx) Macintosh apples (peel and core)
Splenda to taste
Boil apples in a little water (DO NOT COVER)
Cook until tender
Whisk together
A nice recipe for fruit and veggie days
BAKED APPLES (Lauren)
Red Apples (any red apple you like)
Dr. Brown's DIET Black Cherry Soda
Cinnamon
Core the apples leaving the remainder of the apple in tact.
Take a little bit of skin off the top and bottom.
Put in a baking dish and pour the soda over the apples and sprinkle with
cinnamon.
I baked them in a 400-degree oven for about 20 minutes. You can bake them to
your desired texture. Since my mom and I are doing the diet together, I used 4
apples and we each had one on each of our vegetable days. They were SO tasty.
Crust-less Apple Pie (Mitch)
Slice 2 Granny Smith apples into ¼ inch thick slices
Spray the bottom of a glass casserole dish with Pam
Spread the apple slices over the bottom of the dish
Sprinkle them with Splenda, then sprinkled them with apple pie spice
Make another layer of the apples and repeat the sprinkling.
Bake in a 425 degree oven until the apples are tender and start to brown.
Let it cool a bit, and it is fabulous!
