Dr. Schwartz:  After 6 p.m.the key word is caution because it can lead to bad habits; i.e., "I can cheat."  However, have water all day.  Be under control and make the next 2 days milk days.

Dr. Schwartz:  This is a true special occasion.  Therefore, do the following:

  1. Finish the day before the event normally.
  2. Drink only diet liquids (mainly water) until the lunch/dinner.
  3. Eat sensibly and be sensitive to your feeling satisfied with foods.
  4. It never hurts to eat salads and fruits to help satisfy you.
  5. Make the 2 days following the lunch/dinner milk days.
  6. Then follow with two fruit/veggie days and you'll have enjoyed and be "on the road again."
