Dr. Schwartz: This is a true special occasion. Therefore, do the following:
- Finish the day before the event normally.
- Drink only diet liquids (mainly water) until the lunch/dinner.
- Eat sensibly and be sensitive to your feeling satisfied with foods.
- It never hurts to eat salads and fruits to help satisfy you.
- Make the 2 days following the lunch/dinner milk days.
- Then follow with two fruit/veggie days and you'll have enjoyed and be "on the road again."
